RNDr. Jiří Lošťák, Ph.D. (*1963) graduated at the Faculty of Science of the Palacky University in Olomouc in 1989. His specialisations at the University were Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. He is a graduate of the Czech Institute of Marketing (CIMA). Currently, he studies at Brno Business School at the Brno University of Technology (MBA Nottingham Trent University) and completed a doctoral study at the VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava (PhD), his specialisations are Business Economics and Management. He has been devoting to Franchising since 1998. In 2004 he opened his consulting office in Olomouc. In the same year he became a full member of the Czech Franchise Association. And since 2006 he has become a member of the Management Board of the Czech Franchise Association. Thanks to long-time experience in various management positions for several companies in various fields (business and services), the consulting activity is focused on a practical system application, with an emphasis on the briefness and comprehensibility of all franchise documents.
His office works on the significant franchise projects and participates in the entrance of foreign franchise systems into the Czech Republic. It is also active in the field of organization of seminars, conferences, and expos and therefore contributes to the popularization of franchises among expert and non-expert public.

analysis of the business plan, guidance, documentation, know how, preparation of manuals, draft of legal documents, recommended procedures for negotiating the sale of franchise and master franchise licenses in the Czech Republic and abroad, estimation of the success of the concept, dispute resolution - media coverage, improvement and development of functional franchise concepts, coaching of managers of the network, etc.

3. Export and import of the frachise
cooperation with AVEX Systems and Franchise Pool International – preparation, assistance in meetings, assessment of quality of the concept, market research, negotiation of prices of the licenses, comparative tests, estimation of success in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, treatment of the foreign concepts for the Czech and Slovakia, translation of the manuals, etc.

Basic analytical study analyzes the current status of candidate’s company and defines the status of readiness of the project for the realization of a franchise and its suitability for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It also compares the project with an existing similar concepts. It serves as the basis for the client's decision to implement the project, highlights the legislative conditions and peculiarities of a particular line of business. It recommends the procedure and deadlines for the project phases and provides cost estimates for the client‘s franchise project.
Operation manual for the franchisee contains a complete know how description. It is structured into the chapters and supplemented by the data storage devices for the quick orientation in the issue, all in the printed and electronic version with multimedia functions for using within the internal information system of the franchisor – easy updates and communication with the franchisee.
Systems manual for the franchisor contains a complete description of the principles of management of the franchise network for the expansion to the foreign markets. Definition of relationships and rules of comunicaion between franchisor and master franchisee. Descriptions of functions and procedures for management and development of the network in the region/state.
